14 covered · 6 to improve · 4 to create — every keyword gets a lane

From keyword import to page-level action plan

Keyword tools stop at a list with volumes. The Spider joins that list to your real crawled site and your real rankings — so every keyword arrives with a verdict.

Import

Bring demand in free

Drop in Google Keyword Planner CSVs — banded volumes and all — or enrich with search volumes and related keywords via credits, only when you ask.

Map

Join demand to your pages

Each keyword lands on the page that should own it. Your actual GSC rankings decide first — title, H1, and URL inference only fill the gaps.

Classify

Five action lanes

Defend what ranks top-7, improve striking distance (8–20), optimize pages that cover but don't rank, expand thin topics, create what's absent.

Act

One click into motion

The Optimize lane launches the Title & Meta Refresh recipe directly; the New lane hands gaps to Content Opportunities and the Page Writer.

Keyword mapping built on rankings, not guesses

Local-first and honest with search volumes: imports never touch the cloud, and banded volumes are ranked correctly instead of being fake-summed.

CSV import done right

Handles Keyword Planner's UTF-16 exports and banded volumes correctly — bands rank keywords ordinally, they're never summed into fictional totals.

Markets, not just keywords

A market is a location × language pair. Track 'dentist near me' in Sydney and Singapore as the separate battles they are.

GSC reality beats inference

If Google already ranks a page for a query, that page owns the keyword — mapping never argues with your actual search data.

Every keyword gets a lane

Defend, improve, optimize, expand, or new — a deterministic classification first, with AI refining only the unmatched tail.

Volume history, not snapshots

Monthly search-volume history rides along with each keyword, so seasonality shows up before you plan around a spike.

One-click Title & Meta Refresh

From the Optimize lane, launch the recipe that crawls the live page, checks the audit, and proposes better titles and metas grounded in real volume.

Your agent reads the lanes and moves

The whole keyword universe — lanes, topics, volumes, coverage — is one MCP call away.

41 keywords sit in the improve lane — 12 are at positions 8–12 on pages with weak titles. I've launched Title & Meta Refresh for the top five by volume; drafts ready for review.

Common questions

Where does the keyword data come from?

Two sources, both on your terms. Free: import Google Keyword Planner CSVs — the Spider handles the UTF-16 format and banded volumes correctly, ranking bands ordinally instead of summing them into made-up totals. Billable: enrich keywords with live search volumes and related-keyword discovery through Digispot Cloud credits, in batches you explicitly trigger. Imports and reads never touch the cloud.

What exactly are the five action lanes?

Defend — you rank in the top 7, protect it. Improve — striking distance (positions 8–20), one push from page 1. Optimize — a page covers the keyword but isn't ranking, fix the on-page signals. Expand — the topic exists but is thin, strengthen it. New — no matching topic at all, a page to create. The classification is deterministic first; AI only adjudicates the tail that rules can't place.

Can I track multiple countries or languages?

Yes — the Spider models a market as a location × language pair, and each project can hold several. Volumes, mapping, and lanes are computed per market, so your Sydney and Singapore strategies don't blur into one average.

How does it decide which page owns a keyword?

By evidence, in priority order: if your connected Search Console shows a page actually ranking for the query, that page owns it — full stop. Only when GSC has no answer does the Spider infer from title, then H1, then URL slug. Your real rankings always beat guesses.
